Chestnut biscuits are a delicious and simple treat for the cold season. These tender biscuits have a nutty flavour and are perfect as a snack with coffee or for the festive Advent season. Enjoy the natural flavour of the ingredients in every bite!

Ingredients

250 g    Chestnut Flour
200 gButter / Margarine
50 gSugar / Unrefined Sugar
PinchSalt
 Optional:
 40 gChocolate (dark)
 3 tbsChestnut Flakes

Quick Guide

Melt the butter/margarine.

Knead all the ingredients into a dough.

Chill for 30 minutes.

Flour the surface and roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut out biscuits.

Bake in a preheated fan oven at 180 degrees for approx. 10 minutes.

Optional: Decorate with dark chocolate and chestnut flakes before baking
