Oats, freshly crushed with the Eschenfelder grain crusher, are an unsurpassed source of vital nutrients for your breakfast muesli. They are also delicious in bread, pastries, soups or casseroles with their mild, slightly nutty flavor.

Oats are rich in essential amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.

The fat content is 7-10 %. The fatty acids it contains consist of 40 % unsaturated linoleic acid . Oats are the only cereal to contain saponin, which makes them particularly suitable for diabetics.

The grain can be crushed and eaten raw without soaking.

Our oat kernels (made from spelt oats) come from Danish organic farming, as the German market is currently sold out. Oat kernels are ideal for muesli - even for children - as they are particularly tasty and above all mild. Other types of oats can have a rather bitter aftertaste.

Hulled oats are not suitable for growing oat sprouts!
